Hearty congratulations.....! on getting admission at Shri G S Institute of Technology and Science, Indore. You are among the best talent of the state and have been admitted
to the premier institute of Madhya Pradesh. Established in 1952, SGSITS has a tradition
of imparting good knowledge and ethical values to students. No wonder SGSITS is
ranked among top 35 colleges in the nation including IITs (Indian Institute of Technology)
and NITs (National Institute of Technology) consistently over the last many years.
The institute has an excellent track record of placements with 436 placements in
2011. Students of this glorious institute have proved their mantle in industry,
academics, and administration over the last 59 years, resulting in one of the strongest
alumni base in the country and abroad. This glory has been due to the synergetic
efforts of management, learned faculty, dedicated staff and sincere students over
these years.

Now, as you are part of "SGSITS family", I urge to make excellent career by being
a keen learner during classroom teaching, laboratory instructions, industrial trainings
and participating in sports, cultural and other extra-curricular activities of your
interest at SGSITS for all round development. Being best talent and admitted in
premier institute of the state puts an additional responsibility of maintaining
“SGSITS pride” by disciplined behaviour and consistent academics. Therefore, do
not indulge in any type of indiscipline including ragging. Ragging in any form invites
serious punishments under laws.
